Terms of Service
1. Scope
These terms of service apply to the use of the Flagcore API and the associated website flagcore.de, operated by Dustin-Joel Eden.
2. Service Description
Flagcore provides an API through which country flags in various formats (SVG, PNG) and country data can be retrieved. Access to the Flag API requires a valid API key.
3. API Usage
Each API key is limited to 1,000 requests per day (rate limit). Exceeding the limit results in temporary suspension until the next day. The API key is personal and may not be shared with third parties.
4. Availability
We strive for high availability of the service but do not guarantee a specific uptime. Maintenance work may lead to temporary restrictions.
5. Limitation of Liability
The country data and flags provided through the API are provided without warranty. We assume no liability for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the data. Use is at your own risk.
6. Prohibited Use
The following uses are prohibited: automated mass scraping beyond the rate limit, resale of API access, use for illegal purposes, deliberate overloading of the service (DDoS).
7. Termination
We reserve the right to deactivate API keys without prior notice in case of violation of these terms of service.
8. Changes
We reserve the right to change these terms of service at any time. The current version is always available on this page.
9. Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is Hamburg.
